Bamboo is ideal for a more exotic evergreen hedge. It is fast growing but as such it has a strong root system and needs lots of space to grow at its best. Its spread can be managed by cutting back the canes as they sprout from the ground. Black bamboo can be planted either on its own or as a mixed colour hedge with gold and green bamboos to create further colour. Plants supplied are 120cm high and grow 40 70cm per year.
